Ada Jane Okonkwo (she/her), MPH, B.HSc.
Engagement & Evaluation Analyst

I am a proud Black-African Canadian who is now settled on the traditional territories of the Lək̓ʷəŋən speaking peoples and the Esquimalt and Songhees Nations. My background centres around project coordination, planning, management, community engagement and healthcare systems transformation using mixed methods research approaches to create change. I enjoy connecting with communities and stakeholders in meaningful ways. I am passionate about centering the social determinants of health and incorporating an equity lens into all aspects of healthcare. I enjoy project coordination, planning and management. One of the many awesome things I enjoy about working with the ISU is our approach to work: ACTION packed – there is truly never a dull moment!

In my free time, I enjoy creating fitness content to empower people to achieve their fitness goals, and playing competitive rugby!
