Aleah Ross (she/her) MSc., BSc.
Research Coordinator and Project Lead in Primary Care Transformation
I currently live and work on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territories of the Tseycum and Pauquachin First Nations, and WSANEC peoples. Within the ISU, I am really grateful to collaborate on work related to Primary Care Transformation. Mostly, I connect in alongside communities to help them to workshop primary and community care priorities and needs, considering gaps and barriers to care. Together, we work in partnership to improve service plans, care, and outcomes for patients in BC and beyond, from a patient-centered, inclusive, and community-engaged lens.
What I love about doing this work is bringing diverse people together to share their experiences, and supporting tangible and grounded change for the health of people and communities. I am also really curious about integrated care and how we can continue to better bridge collaborators from different programs, services, disciplines, and care contexts to enhance healthcare.
When I am not working with the ISU, I am often studying and training as I complete my PhD in Clinical Psychology with a concentration in Health Psychology. I also love to spend time in nature either on the beach with my dog or hiking. I also adore growing flowers (dahlias are a favourite). I am happiest when I am moving and/or outdoors!
