Strategic Lead, Primary Care Transformation

As a member of the ISU’s distributed team, I am lucky to live, work, and play on the beautiful lands and waters of the Liǧʷiɫdax̌ʷ People in Campbell River. In my free time you can find me exploring the local trails, beaches, and ski hill with my friends and family.

I come to this team passionate about the intersection between system change, health promotion, and population health. Prior to joining the ISU I led community and provincial-level initiatives that focussed on collaborative, upstream health interventions to improve the wellbeing of British Columbians across the lifespan – helping add more ‘life to years’, not just ‘years to life’. With this lens, I approach our work at the ISU in a similar manner and ask – ‘how can we help transform primary care in a way that adds resilience to the system, strengthens community action, and improves health of our population?’ There is so much rich work being done around the province and I love being a part of it!
