Angela Randall (she/her), MPH, BHSc.
Evaluation Project Lead
I am grateful to live and work as an uninvited guest on the traditional, ancestral and unceded lands of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations. I bring to the ISU experience leading mixed methods health care evaluation initiatives looking at process and measuring impact, and working with numerous non-profit organizations supporting a diverse range of communities. I see evaluation as a learning process and a valuable tool to support people and groups to make the changes they want to see in their communities, ultimately improving healthcare in our province.
I love being able to bring my experience to the ISU, work with a diverse group of wonderful people both within the ISU team and in the larger healthcare system, and do work that can enact real change! I approach projects in a relational way by taking the time build and foster relationships, and the way the ISU works allows me to do exactly that.
Outside of work you can find me in the mountains or by the water with family and friends. I rarely say no to a hike, camping trip or beach day! In the Fall and Winter, I also love spending time baking delicious desserts and treats. I’m very close to perfecting my chocolate chip cookie recipe!
