Michael Ruffolo (he/him) is the only child of immigrant parents and lives, works, and plays on the traditional lands of the Tsleil-Waututh, Kwikwetlem, and Sto:lo peoples. He works as the Education and Media Specialist within the ISU and has the privilege of collaborating with talented team members across many workstreams. As a science communicator, documentarian, and award winning journalist, Michael’s work has been published in print, online, radio, and television — and his stories have spanned the globe from his home in Metro Vancouver to Uganda. He hopes to build connections with peoples and communities.
