Research & Evaluation

Our research work focusses on projects that expand the evidence available to inform changes to primary care. Sometimes when we start working on a new project, we realize that there isn’t enough evidence or information about the topic and find we are well positioned to help fill that information gap. Right now our biggest research focus is the Capacity Estimator (CapEs) project.

Our work in evaluation supports the implementation of team-based care across British Columbia (BC) through strategic planning, developing evaluation plans, and implementing evaluation projects, including Community Health Centre Evaluation and evaluating team-based primary care across BC. Evaluation has a core role in supporting healthcare improvement through sharing and building on existing knowledge, identifying learning opportunities and informing decision-making.

Examples of our previous research and evaluation projects can be found in our list of Past Projects.
